Mr Léonidas NDUWIMANA
is a Lawyer since 01/3/2019. He is registered in the Grand Roll of the Bar. He is an associate of BNM & Co. Advocates since 2/5/2021.
Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a teacher, even as a prefect of studies at Musigati High School (from 2011 to October 10, 2015).
In addition, he was the Provincial Focal Point of the National Independent Human Rights Commission (CNIDH) within the Western Antenna covering the Provinces of Bubanza, Cibitoke, Bujumbura-Mairie, Bujumbura and Muramvya (October 2015 to December 2017) In this function, he had as missions the promotion and protection of human rights without forgetting the mission of advising the State and its organs for its advisory role to respect human rights and ratify international human rights instruments.
As a lawyer, promoter and protector of human rights, he intervenes in the legal field by producing quality legal opinions on legal issues, thereby ensuring the advice and guidance of applicants. In the judicial field, he assists or validly represents clients before Courts and Tribunals and/or before administrative and quasi-judicial institutions.
